Against reason : John Lautner and postwar architecture [videorecording] / [symposium sponsored by the Hammer Museum and the Getty Research Institute].

This two-day symposium, organized in conjunction with the Hammer Museum's exhibition "Between Earth and Heaven: The Architecture of John Lautner," includes a series of panels and presentations, where architects, engineers, and architectural historians explore the distinctive work of Los Angeles architect John Lautner. The symposium participants discuss antirationalism in architecture during the second half of the twentieth century and attempt to broaden the view of postwar architecture. The symposium was presented by the Getty Research Institute and the Hammer Museum.
